As part of our baseline assessments in early years PE, students are evaluated on their balance and movement skills. We prepare many races and activities for student to show off their skills and work on improving.
Our first music inquiry during play-based learning this year involved instrument that shake. EY 3,4,&5 where able to explore the sounds of these instruments, as well as create their own from recycled materials.
For our baseline assessments to start the year, early years students got to participate in doing obstacle course and even created their own. This is how this activity looked during a week of play-based learning.
